How to Upload Videos
Adding a film after Creating a project
If you have created a project, you are taken to the Project View screen where you are prompted to upload a film.
Once uploaded you can edit the film’s settings, if you wish. You can find them by clicking on the menu-button in the top right of the film tile. There is some useful stuff in the settings, to don’t ignore them entirely: start timecode allows you to sync Freque’s TC readout to your film, so that for instance comments have the correct timestamp. And your editor will love that you took the time to enter their name into the editor’s field.
Uploading a new edit of a film
If that was too easy, how about adding a new edit of your film? You could of course just add another film (we’ll get to that below), but Freque was built to keep you organized. You’ll appreciate this when you work on series or anything where you deal with more than one episode or film.
To upload a new edit, simply click the ‘add new edit’ button on the pane of the film. After uploading, you can rename the edit and also edit its settings (start timecode, as described above).
Uploading a new film
Some projects have multiple episodes, such as a TV-series or a commercial campaign. To add an episode to your project, click the ‘add film’ button in the header of the Project View screen. You are prompted to find or drop the file. After uploading you can edit the film’s settings, such as the start timecode to sync it up with Freque’s timecode.
